May16
Each May museum volunteers offer hands-on activities for elementary schools in the surrounding area. Activities take place near or inside the museum's restored buildings. These activities provide young people an opportunity to experience life as it was in the mid-1900's. After the kids learn about using the washtub and scrub board to do their laundry, Miss "V" will be demonstrating how these implements are equally useful for making homespun music! Participating students will accompany "V" in a live performance. Please contact the museum for details.
